Annual Zombie Walk ‘goes wild’

Mount Gambier was overrun with zombies and their friends on Saturday as part of the annual Mount Gambier Zombie Walk.

About 130 people attended the walk from Vansittart park to the Cave Gardens.

Organiser Kylie Bamford said the group was pleased with the turn out, despite COVID-19.

“We were very happy with the event, the rain held off and everyone followed the rules and did the right thing,” she said.

“We had 130 in attendance and $908 was raised for Friends of Native Wildlife.

“Im really proud to see some of the same people returning every year and it’s been wonderful to see some zombies growing up over the years.”
