More than 100 works by painters, sculptors, photographers and students from the region are now on display at Mount Gambier’s Riddoch Arts and Cultural Centre.
They are featured as part of the premier event of the South East Art Society, which opened to the public on Saturday.
President Vicky Thorpe said the competition had been a showcase for local talent since 1965.
“The exhibition is the product of six months of work by our volunteer committee of art lovers and we are really proud of the quality, creativity and variety of the entries,” she said.
“Most of the works are available for sale, so be early to put your red dot on a unique original.”
