Everything about the Mazda CX-5 screams luxury.

From the slimline adaptive LED headlamps framed by a striking aerodynamic front end with a the perfectly placed badging and large open front grille forcing cold air into the engine for maximum cooling efficiency, to the equally impressive rear end and LED tail lights and everything in between, the body of the SUV has been sculpted and crafted to ensure onlookers instantly recognize the high-quality Mazda finish out on the road.

Mazda has always been a manufacturer that has nailed it’s paint colour selections of the years and the CX-5 is no different, with the GT SP available in Rhodium White, Machine Grey, Polymetal Grey, the fan-favourite Soul Red Crystal, Zircon Sand and Platinum Quarts Metallics (as pictured), while Jet Black, Eternal Blue and Deep Crystal Blue Micas are also classy options.

Fuel economy numbers hover around the 8.2-litres per hundred kilometre range, which is enhanced in busy city conditions with Mazda’s i-stop technology.

For those who may find the need to carry larger items, a braked towing capacity of 2000kg and 750kg unbraked will hell you along the way.

Hopping inside the CX-5 is just as impressive as the exterior, with the Black Maztex and Black Grand Luxe Synthetic Suede trim enhanced through contrasting red stitching, with drivers treated to a two-position memory function and 10-way power adjustable seat paired with a six-way power adjustable passenger seat, both with heating function.

In the way of infotainment the Mazda SUV includes the manufacturer’s tried and trusted 10.25-inch touch screen display with MZD connect featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, factory satellite navigation and traffic sign recognition, while the Bose premium 249-watt amplified 10-speaker audio system with subwoofer provides crystal clear audio throughout the cabin.

A wireless phone charging pa, power sliding and tilt glass sunroof, remote power tailgate and dual zone climate control are also fantastic additions to the GT SP model, while an active driving display projected onto the windscreen ensures your eyes are firmly on the road ahead at all times.

Mazda also has you covered in the way of safety, with radar cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, automatic headlights with adaptive control, reverse camera, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alerts, smart city brake support and lane departure warnings just some of the key features.
