The in Millicent is a strong supporter of various causes and charities and it is taking part in Do It For Dolly Day tomorrow May 12.

It is a day dedicated to bringing the community together, spreading kindness and uniting in taking a stand against bullying.

Dolly’s Dream was created by Kate and Tick Everett following the shattering loss of their 14-year-old daughter, Dolly, to suicide after ongoing bullying.

Donations will help raise much-needed funds for Dolly’s Dream and support their anti-bullying initiatives and programs that are helping to empower and educate the community about the power of kindness and bullying prevention.

Two Spoons proprietor Haylie Callow said too many kids suffered from bullying.

She has a tip jar on the front counter for the month of May with all funds going to Dolly’s Dream.

“We will be coming to work on Friday in the colour blue and we hope our customers will come in for their coffee wearing blue, too,” Ms Callow said.

“Also, on Friday we will also be donating $1 from every medium coffee sold on the day to Dolly’s Dream.

“We also have an online page to accept donations.

“The Two Spoons shop will be decorated in blue this week and have the blue butterfly emblem for Dolly’s Dream.”

Other causes to be supported by Two Spoons staff in the past year have included Foster Kids and R U OK Day.
