Port MacDonnell’s Heather Richards won the Ladies Singles Champion of Champions at Robe on Sunday – claiming the title for the seventh time.
Richards had a heavy week of bowls in Adelaide for the round robin and then pennants on Saturday, showing her class to get the result.
Richards defeated Lucindale’s Cheryl Ferguson in the first round and then defeated Mount Gambier’s Kristy Errock and Naracoorte RSL’s Lindy Mark to reach the final against Jill Preston of Beachport.
After an even contest Richards took the title and will advance to the SE Region Champion of Champions to be played at Naracoorte on May 7.
