Aworking group has recently been established at Beachport with a view to increasing local child care.


It is looking for support with surveys, collecting data and feedback on the challenges accessing child care services.


There are also the challenges that businesses face in staffing in Beachport and surrounding areas.


At present, Beachport only has Child Care on Wheels (CCOWS) provided by the Robe District Council on one week day.


It has provided service to Beachport for over 15 years.


The aim of the Beachport Child Care Working Group is to collect evidence about the need for child care.


It will be provided to local councils/government organisations to access funding and support to increase hours and days available in Beachport.
