The Millicent Choral Society has emerged from its customary summer recess.

Members are again gathering each Monday night at their long-time rehearsal venue in the music suite of Millicent High School.

The long-time musical director is Michael Bleby OAM and new members are always welcome.

The group was founded in 1974 and is one of the town’s oldest cultural organisations.

Other long-running groups are the Company of Seven theatre group (founded 1949), National Trust (1961) and South East Family History Group (1980).
