The RSL Bowling Club will witness the sights and sounds of country music sensation Kevin Sporer and his hand-selected line-up on July 24 from 1pm to 4pm.

The event will be hosted by the Mount Gambier Cancer Support Group and has been running for numerous years, attracting around 100 guests annually.

Tickets are $15 inclusive of an afternoon lunch catered by the RSL Bowling Club Ladies and available for purchase at Bare Necessities Lingerie until June 17.

The backup acts include Mark and Wendy Moffatt, Nick McIntyre, Leonie and Michelle and Stephanie and The Belly Dancers much to the excitement of the community.

Mount Gambier Cancer Support Group chairperson Lorraine Musgrove said Kevin Sporer has been participating in the group’s country music afternoons for years to help raise much needed funds.

“We are so grateful for Kevin’s contribution, he has been just brilliant for our group,” she said.

“All the funds raised on the day will stay local, supporting cancer clients and families for whatever their individual needs may be.

“Thank you to all the businesses within the Mount Gambier community that support us with donations for our lucky door prizes and raffle.”
