The local man accused of an alleged stabbing at Millicent last October is set to remain custody for at least a further three months.
The 28-year-old Millicent man has been detained at the James Nash House secure psychiatric facility in Adelaide since he was arrested by police on the day of the alleged stabbing.
He appeared via video link in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on Monday, where he was ordered to reappear in October.
Emergency services had been called to a business in George Street on October 14, where a 24-year-old local man had been stabbed in the abdomen.
He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
