South West Freight is a values-based, family owned and operated transport operator in Mount Gambier. We are seeking a Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our Mount Gambier workshop team. This is a full-time permanent position with overtime available (if desired), working on our modern fleet of Kenworth trucks and trailing equipment.
About the role:
The successful applicant will support our team by assisting with:
- Scheduled truck maintenance
- Preventative truck maintenance
- Fault diagnostics and general repairs
- Some light truck and forklift work
- Refurbishment of fleet and project work
- Other fleet maintenance and fitment as required
What can you bring:
- Experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Diesel engine experience
- Understanding of automotive workshop processes
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing general
mechanical faults
