Awoman has lost her licence for a year after she was caught drink-driving in Mount Gambier.
It will be alleged that about 6.16pm on Thursday a 44-year-old local woman was stopped by police travelling on Pick Avenue.
The driver underwent a breath test and returned a positive result of 0.229.
She was reported for drink-driving and issued with a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice, her car was impounded for 28 days, and she will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
In other police news, a man has been arrested after a large amount of stolen jewellery was located at a Naracoorte home.
At 11.35am on October 13, following an investigation, police attended a Naracoorte address where they seized an Apple watch and a small safe.
The safe was searched and found to contain a large amount of jewellery.
Police will allege the watch and jewellery were stolen during a break in at a Naracoorte home in September.
A 20-year-old Naracoorte man was arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and theft.
He has been bailed to appear before the Naracoorte Magistrates court on December 6.
