The winning floats from the AAM Timber Mount Gambier Christmas Parade have been announced.
The parade kicked off the festive season in Mount Gambier on Saturday, with thousands of people lining Commercial Street for the event.
City of Mount Gambier Community Events Officer Liana Golubic said the event was well supported by both entries and spectators.
“We would like to thank the schools, businesses, community and sporting groups and the many volunteers who helped bring this magical event to life this year,” she said.
“It was incredible to see the spirit and creativity of our community, sparking smiles and laughter from all watching along Commercial Street.”
Entries competed for prizes judged on energy and engagement, creativity, and effort.
Judges scored the floats in the various categories, with the following floats receiving awards.
All prize money is donated by AAM Timber.
The livestream replay of the parade is available to watch on the City of Mount Gambier website, Facebook page, or Youtube channel.
