High-fibre initiative

Member for Barker Tony Pasin has partnered with NBN Co and Naracoorte Lucindale Council to bring the local business community information about the potential for businesses as part of the business NBN fibre initiative.

An estimated 500 businesses within the Naracoorte NBN business fibre zone have access to fast services over a business-grade fibre network at a time when reliance on driving online presence, digital collaboration platforms and cloud-based tools is becoming more significant for businesses.

Members of the Naracoorte community are invited to attend an information and networking evening at the Naracoorte Town Hall tonight from 6-7pm.

There will be opportunities to ask questions and learn how technology and high-speed connectivity could help businesses and the footprint of the Naracoorte business NBN fibre zones.

Eligible businesses can benefit from access to discounted monthly wholesale charges, up to a 68% discount for some businesses, as well as access to NBN’s fastest symmetrical speeds close to 1000Mbps.

Mr Pasin said access to high-speed internet would allow local businesses to grow and thrive, break into new markets and secure our long-term growth potential.

“I encourage the Naracoorte community and business owners to come along and find out how the newly announced NBN business fibre zone can benefit you.”
