Who might this man be?

This near-century old black and white photograph comes from the archives of car maker General Motors Holden.

The archive is now in the safe keeping of the State Library of South Australia.

The only information accompanying this picture is that it was taken in 1930 and this brief description.

“A man standing beside a Buick sedan outside ‘Dingley Dell’, which was Adam Lindsay Gordon’s residence at Port MacDonnell near Mount Gambier.”

It might be the man is a dealer for GMH as there are other similar photographs from this era in the archive.
