The Generations in Jazz Board has extended its thanks to the incredible volunteers, dedicated sponsors, and supportive community groups and clubs who made the 2024 festival an unforgettable success.
Generations in Jazz board member Kylie Boston said the unwavering commitment and collaborative spirit had left an indelible mark on the festival.
“To our tireless volunteers, who worked behind the scenes and on the front lines, we salute you. Your passion, energy, and countless hours ensured smooth operations, warm hospitality, and a seamless experience for all attendees. From setting up stages to guiding the schools and public, your dedication was the heartbeat of Generations in Jazz,” she said.
“Our local community groups and clubs, whether providing logistical support across the weekend, you assisted in bringing this festival together.
“Our sponsors and supporters deserve a standing ovation. Your generosity allowed us to bring together young jazz musicians from around Australia. Your belief in their potential fuels their dreams and inspires us all. We look forward to continuing this harmonious partnership in the years to come.
“On behalf of the GIJ Board, we want to say how grateful we all are, not only to our selfless volunteers and sponsors, but to the wider community who embrace this event. It’s a wonderful example of our Limestone Coast hospitality and we’re genuinely lucky to have an event of this size here in our region.
“As we bid farewell to 2024, we invite you to mark your calendars for Generations in Jazz 2025, from May 2-4.”
