Job seekers to come face-to-face with potential employers

Limestone Coast employers are invited to register for an upcoming Jobs and Skills Showcase.

Hosted by Workforce Australia Local Jobs Murray and South East, the annual event connects people looking for work and school students with employers who have current vacancies.

The free event will be held at Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre on Wednesday, August 2 from 9.30am to 3pm.

Local Jobs Murray and South East Support Officer Caitlin Kennedy said the event was an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their vacancies and career opportunities.

“We want to bring local employers, potential employees and students together, to understand the vast career opportunities available in our region,” she said.

“We want to encourage people to look for work locally, and to do so they need to engage with employers face-to-face.”

The event is free for employers and community members to attend.

Any local employers interested in participating can contact Ms Kennedy on 0429 358 868.
