The Millicent Choral Society has recently emerged from a long COVID-imposed recess.
Members are again gathering each Monday night at their long-time rehearsal venue in the music suite of Millicent High School.
Owing to the COVID pandemic, it did not perform in public in 2020 while its sole concert last year was in April at the hall of the Millicent Uniting Church.
COVID protocols require choristers to wear masks when rehearsing or performing.
The Millicent Choral Society will comply with this requirement as it prepares to resume public performances in April.
The group was founded in 1974 and is one of the town’s oldest cultural organisations.
