Livingston House tops St Martins Athletics Day (gallery)

St Martins Lutheran College’s Middle and Senior School Athletics Day was a thrilling display of athleticism, sportsmanship and community spirit.


In the heat, the four House teams battled it out across the sporting disciplines, with Livingston emerging victorious, claiming their second shield for the year.


Scores remained tight throughout the day, with each House showing impressive determination.


However, Livingston’s athletes proved to be unstoppable, securing a remarkable 118-point lead to clinch the title.


The event was not only a showcase of athletic ability but also a celebration of community.


Parents and spectators cheered on the competitors, while the college’s Parents and Friends Committee hosted the pop-up canteen, complete with a sausage sizzle.


Individual athletes were also recognised for their exceptional performances.


Among them were Roxy Buck and Elijah Loef in the Under 13 category, Winnie Zadow and Baiden Mason in Under 14, Jorja Glynn and Leslie Jagger in Under 15, and Elisabeth Benny, Shakira Nyari-Rowley, and Christopher Mossford MacGregor in Under 16.


Lauren Van Eeden and Harry Gibbs stood out in the Under 20 category.


The day was a testament to the college’s strong sense of community and sportsmanship among its 
students.
