Locum minister leads regional congregations

Alocum minister is currently leading Anglican congregations at Millicent, Penola, Kalangadoo and Beachport.

The Reverend Jean Housley has temporary charge while parish priest Father Lyndon Sulzberger is on long service leave.

Originally from the United Kingdom, the Reverend Jean has been in Australia for around a decade.

Along with her husband Rob, they will live at Penola for almost two months.

She was ordained to the diaconate in mid-2022 and is currently a member of the ministry team based at Clare, 140km north of Adelaide.

One of the high points of the Reverend Jean’s brief time in the Millicent/Penola parish will be the Blessing of The Fleece.

It will be held at a Hatherleigh farming property on October 29.
