The very best of Asian and Western cuisine is now on offer at Millicent’s newest eatery.

With dozens of menu choices, there is sure to be plenty to tempt the taste buds at Asia House.

It has been a hectic few weeks since Asia House opened for business in the one-time Red Rooster outlet on Adelaide Road.

Favourites like Lemon Chicken, Mongolian Beef and Gummy Shark are on the menu.

Hundreds of sit-downs and take-away meals prepared by chef/manager Kevin Weng have been enjoyed by his customers.

Many remember Kevin from his successful years of running Asia House at Bompa’s of Beachport.

Kevin has brought the colourful tables from Beachport to Millicent and they occupy the restaurant with its sweeping views of beautiful Apex Park and the Belt Road walking trail.

Asia House also boasts a sheltered al fresco dining area, off-street parking and toilets.

For the convenience of its take-away customers, there is a drive-through facility where orders can be picked up.

The interior of Asia House has undergone a major and expensive make-over.

The premises have been repainted along with new carpets, signage, blinds and wall-paper.

The counter has been re-built to cater for an upmarket coffee machine along with a display refrigerator for the premium cakes from the Metro Bakery in Mount Gambier.

The great dining tradition of “coffee and cake” is gaining momentum at Asia House with Mahalia coffee always sure to please.

If all goes plan, Millicent’s Asia House will be able to serve alcoholic drinks to its eat-in diners before the end of the month.

The liquor licensing process is well under way.

Lunchtime diners are welcome to choose from a range of Asian and Western dishes at special prices.

Kevin is assisted in the running of Asia House by 11 full-time and part-time employees.
