AMount Gambier business owner and entrepreneur has helped lead a Melbourne business to success at the 2024 Australian Small Business Champion Awards in Sydney.

Mount Gambier based entrepreneur Geoffrey Dening and his digital marketing business goingtoplaces.com has been instrumental in the success of Melbourne based fishing brand Vtackle, resulting in their recognition as the overall winner at the esteemed awards.

Vtackle chief executive officer Vince Todarello won in the specialised retail small business category which was made up of around 25 businesses before competing against around 1500 finalists for the top
 prize.

Mr Dening assisted Mr Todarello with strategy, marketing and planning including increasing his social media presence and improving product promotion.
