Museum closed on public holidays

The Millicent National Trust Museum will not be open on Monday (Christmas Day, December 25), Tuesday (Proclamation Day, December 26) and New Year’s Day
(Monday January 1).

The Millicent Visitor Information Centre will be closed on those three days and this is the entrance to the collection.
“Our apologies if this changes your holiday plans and we look forward to meeting you,” said a National Trust spokesman.

A Wattle Range Council spokesperson told the SE Voice that it was usual practice for its visitor information centres at Millicent, Beachport and Penola to be closed on Christmas Day.

The spokesperson confirmed that the three centres would also be closed on Proclamation Day and New Year’s Day but declined to elaborate.
