The MacKillop Farm Management Group has appointed a new communications and events officer.
The group, which develops and delivers innovative and sustainable farming practices through collaborative research, communication and extension for the benefit of members and the agricultural industry in the region, has appointed Lucindale-based consultant Sally Klose to the role.
Mrs Klose, who will start the role next week, brings a wide array of experience in business management, customer service, event management and communications.
Mrs Klose runs her own business, Sally Klose Strategic Solutions and works with a range of clients on business advice, project and event management, community and stakeholder engagement, governance and communications.
Mrs Klose has extensive networks throughout the community and the wide skillset that she brings to the role will be of benefit to MFMG’s members and to the agricultural community in the Limestone Coast.
In addition, Mrs Klose and her husband Chris also operate a prime lamb and beef business at Lucindale.
Mrs Klose replaces Megan Skeer in the role, who stepped down in order to spend more time with her young family and to take on a larger role in her family’s farming business.
Ms Skeer had been in the role for the past two years and helped guide MFMG through a number of changes with their event management and communications.
