New pastor welcomed

Millicent Baptists will officially welcome their new pastor Simun Lalich at his induction service at 2.30pm on March 19.

The induction service will be led by Mark Sanders from the South Australian Baptist Union

Pastor Simun has already been ministering to the Ridge Terrace congregation for several weeks.

He will work part-time at Millicent and also in secular employment in the Blue Lake city.

Off-campus study will also be undertaken by Pastor Simun and he hopes to be ordained within five years.

The Millicent Baptist Church has not had a resident full-time minister since the Reverend Arthur Tzanakis transferred to Kadina around five years ago.
