The Millicent Bowling Club’s Night Owls competition returned, with players pleased to be back on the green after the break for Australia Day, with all the teams present.
Touches on the night went to John Silis (Somerset Legends) 3, Rex Clark (Lion Rams) 3, Barbara Leicester (Acky’s Owls) 3, Tim Grosvenor (Untouchables) 3, Fay Richards (Max’s Four) 3, Paul Craig (Gizzies Crew) 3, Bill Mullan and Jamie Veering (Grand Hotel) 3.
The Max’s Four team of Shane Reilly, Fay Richards, Max Blacketer and John Chalmers claimed the win in Red Division, defeating Grand Hotel 18+11.
Other winners were Sparkies 17+10, Rovers 17+5, Awesome Foursome 16+7 and Jack Attack 16+1.
In Blue Division Acky’s Owls (Barbara Leicester, Bernie Bowman, Mary Bellinger, Nigel Ross) defeated Lion Rams 19+18.
Other winners were Miss Fitts and Try Hards with a draw on 16, Maccas 17+1, The Pups 17+8, Bits & Pieces 18+1.
In White Division Boomers (Graham Boyle, Carlene Godden, Mac Macdonald, Jim Godden) defeated Gizzies Crew 19+18, Lions Roar 17+10, Black Beetles 16+17, X Factor 16+3.
