Football South Australia has announced that iconic South Australian brand Coopers Brewery will become a partner of the Limestone Coast Premier League competition for the next four years.

Coopers Brewery is a proud South Australian Company which supports many local sporting clubs and associations and is a major partner of Football South Australia.

FSA chief executive Michael Carter said, off the back of recent announcements with the deployment of a full time development resource for the region, the announcement of a partnership with Fennell Forestry and scholarship fund for underprivileged youth, the announcement of Coopers Brewery’s support for football/soccer in the region further strengthened the code in the South East.

“Coopers are great supporters of Football SA and many clubs throughout the state,” he said.

“With Coopers supporting our initiative to grow the game in the region adds weight to the importance of the local football/soccer community in the Limestone Coast region.”

Coopers Brewery SA sponsorship manager Brent Felice was equally excited about the new opportunity and partnership.

“Sport in regional South Australia plays a huge role in the communities and we are very pleased to support the growth of regional competitions,” he said.

“We have supported football strongly over the past number of years and we enjoy forging partnerships with local clubs and identities.”

Carter said the announcement was another example of honouring the Football SA purpose of ‘bringing South Australian communities together’.

Coopers is also the current official beer of the RAA NPLSA and has been a member of the football family since 2019.
