Award-winning Robe-based photographer Jacqui Bateman now has one of her works hanging on a wall of a key office at Parliament House in Adelaide.

Callers to the office of Opposition Leader David Speirs can see her framed image of a herd of cattle at Greenways.

Mr Speirs has described her photos as “beautiful” and “spectacular”.

Ms Bateman was recently a guest of former Liberal Member for MacKillop Nick McBride, who last week left the party to sit as an Independent, and she observed one of the Question Times in the House of Assembly.

Her presence in the gallery was noted by Speaker Dan Cregan and he extended an official welcome as well.

Last month, Ms Bateman was elected at the Liberal Party MacKillop State Electoral Convention annual general meeting for the first time to two positions.

She has become the membership officer as well as a delegate to State Council.
