Pollution cut priority

Kimberly-Clark Australia management is working on strategies to further reduce its carbon emissions from its Millicent Mill.

The company has reduced its carbon footprint by over 35% in the past five years and is paying particular attention to the local plant which is its largest polluter.

Almost 115,000 tonnes were produced by the Millicent Mill in 2020.

“We are targeting a total reduction of 50% by 2025 on our pathway to neutrality by 2030,” a KCA spokesperson said.
