Port MacDonnell Sailing Club end of season presentation night

The Port MacDonnell Sailing Club celebrated the end of a successful season recently, holding a presentation evening.

Club members, life members and special guests sat down to enjoy a meal and have some fun of the club’s annual presentation night.

The presentations were held at the Victoria Hotel in Port MacDonnell which also happens to be a sponsor of the club.

There were 13 different trophies awarded this season with many boats recognised.

These special thanks went to Ian Cunningham for timekeeping, Chris Jacobs for his role as committee boat operator, Yvonne Douglas in thanks for the hard work in collating the results and working out the trophy winners, and Nick Watson for service to the club and the multiple race days that he served as Race Officer.

The Victoria Hotel also gave the club four vouchers which were given to members of the club in thanks for their outstanding assistance during the sailing season.

An enjoyable night was had by all and the club looks forward to a successful 2023 -2024 season starting in October.
