Reflection service held at War Memorial Park

More than 150 people attended the Coonawarra-Penola RSL Remembrance Day service in the Penola War Memorial Park.

RSL president Peter DeGaris welcomed all to the service and introduced Reverend Jean Housley who delivered the prayers.

Mr DeGaris spoke on the meaning of Remembrance Day and the Penola Combined Schools choir sang two songs.

Wreaths were laid by individuals, schools and local organisations and The Ode was read to complete the service.
