Regional jobs and skills on display

The Limestone Coast Jobs and Skills Showcase will be held for a second year tomorrow in Mount Gambier.

The annual event, coordinated by Workforce Australia Local Jobs Murray and South East, aims to connect people looking for work and school students, with local employers.

Support Officer Caitlin Kennedy said more than 40 local employers had registered for the event.

“We have everything from the forestry industry, to disability and aged care, to engineering and more,” Ms Kennedy said.

“If you are looking for work, looking for more hours or just wanting a career change this is the event for you.”

The event will be held at Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre tomorrow from 9.30am to 3pm.
