Award winning writer and author Liz Harfull visited the Penola Community Library recently to introduce her new book A Farming Life, which features tales of resilience from inspiring rural women.
Ms Harfull spoke about her visits to the farms of these people and also how she selected the women to feature in the book.
Another of her books, Tried, Tested and True features many treasured recipes and untold stories from Australian community cookbooks.
This follows on with the success of her other award-winning cookbooks and is the 10th book she has published.
Ms Harfull has been travelling around South Australia and western Victoria and has given many presentations at community organisations.
Those in attendance were captivated by Ms Harfull’s escapades, asking plenty of questions.
Penola High School students made a morning tea for all to enjoy.
