Major upgrades to the Princes Highway are continuing and the second stage of work, stretching between Tantanoola and the Victorian border, is now under way.
A Department for Transport and Infrastructure spokesperson said improvements along this new section include extensions to overtaking lanes, rest area improvements and an intersection upgrade at The Springs Road and Burrungule Road.
“We are also upgrading four roundabouts within Mount Gambier and some speed and lane restrictions will be required,” the spokesperson said.
