Rotary Club supports local charities

The Rotary Club of Mount Gambier West donated $4000 to local charities recently.

The funds donated were the proceeds of event catering and a very successful goods and services auction held throughout the past 12 months.

Four Reasons Why, Foodbank, Sunset Kitchen and the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal all received $1000 each from the club.

The club also donated another $1000 to two groups to help with projects.

Neighbourhood Watch was in need of some seed funding to assist the restart of Neighbourhood Watch in Mount Gambier, while a donation to 5GTR FM assisted with some desperately needed equipment upgrades.
