Shooters out in force

South East Field and Game held a sporting clays shoot, with 61 competitors nominating for the Burrungule Park event.

Ken Atkin and his hard working crew set a challenging course to test the shooters’ skills in near perfect Autumn weather conditions.

Ken Atkin shot a score of 70/75 to claim the Gambier Shooting Supplies High Gun which was a convincing three target win over Jamie Dunn, who needed a shoot off with Jeremy Kent to claim AA Grade after both had shot 67/75.

Bill Dyson’s score of 61/75 took out A Grade after a shoot off with Chris VonStanke Jnr.

The event was sponsored by K & S Fuels, O’Connor & Graney, Castec Rural supplies and Water Dynamics.

The club’s next shoot will be on April 23 as 75 Targets at Burrungule Park.
