Millicent retailer Denton Sportspower will occupy the vacant Target Country store at the end of this month. Numerous trades personnel have been working on the store conversion in recent weeks.

The purpose-built department store in George Street opened almost 57 years ago and closed in January this year, with the loss of five jobs. The freehold of the Target Country site in Millicent was put on the open market in 2019 and was purchased by Chris and Donna Denton.

They have operated a nearby sports store for almost eight years.
