Silent auction under way

A Mount Gambier couple are raising money through a silent online auction for the Cancer Council prior to competing in the Winter Shitbox Rally 2024 next month.
Dennis Chapman and Sianne Elshaug will join around 500 competitors 2024 as they drive from Melbourne to Alice Springs through Queensland in a vehicle worth less than $1500.
There are some great local prizes on offer and those interested can message the ‘Rocks and Feathers Sh’t Box Rally Dennis and Sianne’ Facebook Page.’
Successful bidders will be notified by next Saturday afternoon on June 1 and payment and delivery will be organised the following day.

Auction Item Number:

  1. 5 nights at either Southend Caravan Park or the Southend Bush Park for up to 4 people on 1 site excluding December, January and Easter weekend valid for 2 years courtesy of Claire and the Southend Tourist Park.
  2. A year’s supply of Kleenex toilet paper rolls (360 rolls).
  3. Two limestone carved snail friends lovingly carved by Mel from Carved by Mel.
  4. A limestone carved pear lovingly carved by Mel from Carved by Mel.
  5. A pair of limestone pears lovingly carved by Mel from Carved by Mel.
  6. An ultimate towing pack including Milenco compact wheel clamp, extra large step and Aero4 towing mirrors and caps, stubby holders and lanyards, courtesy of Everything Caravan and Camping.
  7. A 1.5 litre Patrick’s of Coonawarra Home Block 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon

  8. A Stereo lithograph in colour on archival paper signed in the plate by Shan-Merry Retrouvailles 2015 plus a $50 voucher towards the framing of the print, thanks to the Pitson family and Framing Solutions Mount Gambier.
