Local forestry and timber company OneFortyOne has signed on as a gold sponsor for the upcoming 2023 SA Country Swimming Championship to be held in Mount Gambier in January.

Committee member Nathan Stratford said the OneFortyOne team were local and passionate people “doing all they can for the community and in this case, it’s supporting young swimmers with big stage opportunities”.

“It is was exciting to have a community-focused local business come on board who shares the values and has a passion for supporting the community,” he said.

“OneFortyOne are great contributors to our community and their passion for supporting local people, events and initiatives makes us very proud to have them on board for the 2023 country swimming champs.”

Committee member Brendan Dening welcomed the new sponsor on board.

“OneFortyOne are an integral part of our community and the Limestone Coast region, and to have their support for the first major event at the Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre is fantastic,” he said.

“Their support is a major contribution to the 2023 country swimming champs promoting our new centre and region.”

While January is fast approaching, there are still opportunities to be a part of the first event at the new state of the art centre.
