St Martins Lutheran College recently welcomed back its annual secondary swimming carnival.
Held at Mount Gambier’s new Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre, students survived a scorching 38°C day.
Swimmers took part in the traditional events, fun novelties, and free-swimming time.
The final score for the day was Tremelling 473.50, Livingston 417.50, Whitty 384 and Yeates 377.
Middle/Senior Sports Coordinator Michael Minuzzo was pleased to see the return of the event.
“It was great to see students back in the pool, with the last swimming carnival being held in 2020,” he said.
“Students participated well with great competition and the St Martins spirit displayed throughout the carnival, filling a large number of events, with strong results.
“Thank you to Brendan Dening who volunteered his time in support of the secondary swimming carnival – It was a successful day for all involved.”
