The SA Labor Party’s Shadow Cabinet will visit Mount Gambier this weekend to hear from local residents.
South Australian Labor Leader Peter Malinauskas and his entire Shadow Cabinet will visit on October 31 and November 1.
SA Labor Legislative Council Member Clare Scriven, from Port MacDonnell, said the visit would enable residents to access all Shadow Ministers in the one location.
“We are holding a public forum on Sunday night at the Town Hall at 5.30pm so people can come along and raise any issues and have their voices heard,” she said.
“Each of the Shadow Ministers are also doing their own meetings throughout the two days.”
Ms Scriven, who is also the deputy leader of the Opposition in the Upper House, said it was the second time in 14 months Shadow Cabinet had visited the region.
Ms Scriven said Shadow Ministers will visit various local organisations, community groups and businesses across the Limestone Coast over the course of the two-day visit.
