Further work is planned for the heritage-listed Tantanoola Railway Station.
The 140-year-old timber structure last had a major makeover around 25 years ago.
The Tantanoola Progress Association has unofficially adopted the station building and associated goods shed and begun painting and repairs with the assistance of grants and volunteer labour.
An update on this project will be provided when the Tantanoola Progress Association holds its annual general meeting on October 25.
The Tantanoola Progress Association would like to invite all to the meeting at the Tantanoola Institute Hall and any ideas are welcome on the night.
