Storms wreak havoc

Two homes were damaged during fierce storms that lashed the Limestone Coast on the weekend.

Around 1am on Friday, SES crews responded to a request for assistance after destructive winds impacted two homes at Pelican Point.

One of the homes had its roof displaced and significant damage to an exterior wall due to strong, damaging winds.

SES crews from the Mount Gambier Unit spent more than two hours assisting the resident in making the property safe.
