Extensions have been announced to the usual seasonal closures of the Millicent swimming lake and the Penola pool.

Wattle Range Council has taken into account the timing of Easter and the first term school vacation and will not close the two facilities until April 26.

The Penola pool is only open when forecast temperature at 9am that morning is 20 and over according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

The Nangwarry pool will close for the winter break as usual on Wednesday (March 31).
