Tech hub connects veterans

Anew hi-tech veterans’ hub is to be opened in the Millicent RSL War Memorial Hall in the coming weeks.


It will offer onsite services for the welfare of veterans and their families.


Speaking on 5THE-FM, Millicent RSL president Chris Mathias said the hub will provide face to face video conferencing facilities with military advocates in Adelaide.


Mr Mathias said the Millicent veterans’ hub will involve a new type of welfare officer.


Similar hubs will also be located in the premises of the Coonawarra/Penola RSL and Mount Gambier RSL.
