Tenders called for Millicent office

Wattle Range Council is another step closer to a [proposed] multi-million dollar office on North Terrace Millicent with the construction tender advertised yesterday afternoon on SA Tenders and Contracts.

A council spokesperson said this is a State Government website that allows for public tendering of government projects.

“Council is encouraging local commercial contractors to consider making a tender submission on this project,” the spokesperson said.

“It would be great to appoint a local builder and we are encouraging all potential contractors to download the documentation.

“The tender will close on February 15 with a confidential tender evaluation report to be considered by elected members at the March Council meeting.

“At this time the elected members will make an informed decision as to whether to proceed with the [proposed] project, and the appointment of a contractor to undertake the works.”
