A Millicent service club is changing its name next month. The Millicent Lioness Club will become the Lions Club of Wattle Range Lioness when it receives its charter on April 24.

The charter dinner will be held at the clubrooms of the Millicent United Soccer Club with the Millicent Lions Club sponsoring its formation. The change follows a Lions International direction to re-structure Lioness clubs across the globe.

The Millicent charter president will be Joan Lucas and the usual functions of the service club will be unchanged including its charity bookshop in George Street.
