Representatives of the Millicent Business Community Association were recently given the opportunity to discuss relevant portfolio matters with Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison, Regional Development Minister Clare Scriven and Small and Family Business Minister Andrea Michaels.
The face-to-face meetings were held over breakfast in Mount Gambier and coincided with the Country Cabinet two-day South East regional tour.
MBCA chairman Lee Morgan said Ms Michaels subsequently met with MBCA committee members at the Millicent offices of South East Property Sales and Management.
“These sessions raised a myriad of matters and with some follow up, we are sure that local business and the community will benefit from this interface,” Mr Morgan said.
The MBCA was also represented at the State Cabinet public forum at the Blue Lake Golf Links.
