Afun event is being arranged to mark the opening of the $2.1m Penola Coonawarra Rail Trail.
Participants in a Colour Run are asked to meet at the Coonawarra Rail Siding at 10am on April 27.
They are encouraged to wear a white shirt, appropriate footwear and sunglasses as they will be doused in colour.
As part of the non-competitive event, participants can either run, walk, cycle, scoot, skip or hop.
The Colour Run is part of the Full Throttle in Wattle school holiday program staged by Wattle Range Council.
The trail has been built over the former broad gauge rail line.
