UniSA strengthens community connections

The University of South Australia Mount Gambier campus hosted an Alumni and Industry Partners Networking Event on Friday evening.

The event was held to provide an opportunity for alumni of UniSA and regional industry partners to continue their connection with UniSA.

The event was attended by University of South Australia Vice Chancellor Professor David Lloyd, who spoke about the university’s recent successes and plans for the future.

More than 60 people attended and UniSA Mount Gambier Regional Manager Ian McKay said there was a very positive atmosphere amongst attendees.

“The evening was a wonderful success, allowing both past students and our industry partners to interact together and learn more about the development of UniSA and the Limestone Coast’s own university campus.” Mr McKay said.

Prof Lloyd said he was very happy to attend and was pleased to see an excellent community connection evident.

Throughout the evening, attendees enjoyed a glass of wine sponsored by Patrick of Coonawarra and canapes from Donna Stone Catering.

Mr McKay said UniSA Mount Gambier planned for the Alumni and Industry Partners Networking Event to continue as an annual event.
