Unmanned fuel station set to close

Millicent will again be reduced to one fuel outlet from the beginning of next month.

Ampol Australia has informed K&S Fuels of its desire to close the unmanned Pines Service Station on Mount Gambier Road at the end of July.

The closure will leave the Billygoat Corner 24-hour “servo” as the town’s sole fuel retailer.

However, there are three other fuel outlets in the planning or construction stage in Millicent.
